The Time is Here
Find Your Memorable Moments of the Night and Make it Your Motivation to not Miss "The Time of the Night"
My Spiritual Growth started with the night journey.
It was just a girl who grew up in a religious background.
She feels compelled to perform not only religious obligations but also voluntary obligations.
At a young age, I knew how hard it is to stay up awake in the darkest night performing one prayer or the other till Fajr where my obligations are ended with two rakah before Fajr and yh we will call it a night and the beginning of the day.
It took time to finally accept that there's nothing I would do to escape the night prayers ,well, maybe if I'm not with my mum.
Sometimes, I would intentionally escape, not praying beside her so she won't catch me when I doze on prayer, and she won't count my prayers if I've truly completed my expected number of prayers.
And I will say it took time to know the number of prayers expected from a little girl. I remember when I used to ask her "Mummy, what's next after these two I have observed, she will tell me 'Witr',not because I enjoyed it but because I just want to know if I'm almost done with my prayers, so I could sleep before Fajr.
What do you expect from a little girl.
Little did I know, those times were preparing me for a time when I'll truly appreciate the training, and I'll not afford to miss 'The Time of the Night'.
Everyday,
Despite a hectic day ,I'll always long for "The Time of the Night" because that time isn't just about Meeting With My Lord,it's also about cherishing those childhood moments with my mum.
