Sometimes,we get inspired from where we do not expect.
Where did I get this inspiration to write this piece?
Let's dive in
Today was much more engaging because I attended a pre Ramadan lecture delivered by a prominent Sheikh on the topic "Tawbah(Repentance)."
Going by the topic literally, Tawbah (Repentance)is something one will feel. "Could there be more to this topic?"
As I sat to listen to the lecture,
I listened with full concentration because of my curiosity to find what could be more to this topic and praised be to the Lord of the world.
I found out that the topic Tawbah was much more than what it seems to be to many.
I found a part resonating to the journey of the night series, and I could not help but relate it with the series.
The part where the lecturer implied that "Allah is so merciful that he allows us to sin and it's as a result of the Sins we commit as Humans that make us submit to him”
If not for the sin that man commits, when he feels he needs to be humble to his Lord, who has the power to forgive sins. Man would have been swayed with "PRIDE"
How did this part relate to this piece?
Let's find out
If it could not be that the reason you choose to embark on the journey of the night is because of your sins that you've committed for the day,
What could have made you seek the forgiveness of your lord during the night?
What could have made you long for the pleasure of your Lord if not because your Lord does not love a servant who sins and does not seek forgiveness?
What could have made you go down in prostration, in a humble state, if not that you are a sinner and without your Lord's forgiveness, your life can not be the same.
How Merciful Your Lord Is?
Seek forgiveness in a time when Dua made at that time is like an arrow that never misses its target.
