Can I get to know your sister's friend more? Yaasir asks his friend Bilaal.

Which of them because the last time I confirmed, Noor ,my sister has a lot of friends. She wouldn't stop being the ... who literally get along with a lot of people, and some end up being her friends,Bilal says.

I'm talking about the sister in black Jilbab she was with when I arrived , Yaasir says.

Ohhhhhhhh.....you mean Umm Sulaym. Bilaal says.

Stop acting like you expect me to know her name, Bro. Yaasir replies.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't wrap my head around that quickly, and upon doing that,it was shocking.

So what about her? Bilaal asks

Yaasir, who is about to spank Bilal with his daring stares, storms into the living room annoyed.

Pretence that you didn't understand my question or you intentionally want me to repeat so you could bring out something to make jest of. Yaasir asks.

Wait.......you said Umm Sulaym.....

IS SHE MARRIED? Bilaal asks in astonishment.

Take a chill ,Yaasir. She's not married. That's her name, not even Kunya this time round. Bilaal says

Oh....I guess she's looking up to being like the greatest Sahabiyyah, Umm Sulaym bint Milhan . That's very interesting about her,Bilaal says.

Yes......more reasons you want to know about her,definitely she got you with her distinct personality.

Umm Sulaym and Noor attends the same madrasah, and they got closer when they discovered their homes lead the same route from madrasah. Umm Sulaym is a class ahead of Noor in madrasah, which Awwal At-Thanawiyy. So she helps Noor with some difficulty in Nahw (Syntax) and helps Noor with her Tajweed for better recitation. All credit to her for Noor's improvement in her Qur'an recitation. Though she's not done with her hifdh but she's in her last phase of completing her first Khaadimah-tul-Qur'an. Bilal says

Maa shaa Allah....Yaasir who's satisfied with what he hears says.

From my observations,she's has really impacted in Noor's life in different ways especially the greeting aspect . Noor, whom everyone complains of now becomes the girl every parent prays for to have,Bilaal continues.

But I'll ask Noor when she comes back to tell me more about her,Bilaal assures.

In shaa Allah, Yaasir says

Na'am, In shaa Allah, Bilaal who realises that he didn't end with Allah's permission, acknowledges his friend's reminder.

Bro...I'm suspecting you,I hope it's not what I'm thinking, Bilaal says

Well ........we can't say,let's see how everything turns out.

But before then,we still dey this Aponhood together making halal money and chill. No fear,my brother. Yaasir says.

Noor ,who escorts Umm Sulaym is on her way when she sees her brother and his friend ,who she's fond of calling him The Rich Bachelor and in short TRB whenever she wants to refer to him.

Salaam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakaat, Bro Yaasir and Bro Bilaal, Noor greets.

Walaykumu Salaam warahmatullahi wabarakaat, Noor. The two friends responds.

Are you leaving so soon? Noor asks

Na'am, Noor,Yaasir responds.

Your brother did host me well, so don't bother asking him because I already know what's on your mind,he furthers.

Na'am, Fi amanillah. Noor prays.

Noor returns home to see the living room well tidied and the kitchen well arranged after her brother successfully hosts his friend and he did washed the plates.......Wow,what an gentleman he's becoming, She says in a satisfactory manner.

Bilaal comes in to receive a compliment from his sister...

Nice one, Brother..Noor compliments.

Yes......I would like to get to know more about your friend,Umm Sulaym. Yaasir says.

Really in a questioning tone,Noor says .

Calmzz,it's not me....Bilaal clears himself

I never knew the trend of brothers not wanting their friend get married to their sister applies to your gender too,Bilaal says.

It's not that,it's just kind of surprising ,never thought in my wildest dream,she defends.

It's not you,then who?Noor asks in curiosity

Uhmmm,I wouldn't like to reveal for now but I promised you will know the person though you know the person already.

Noor agrees.

Umm Sulaym, my darling from another mother,she starts.

Umm Sulaym embodies most of the qualities of the great Sahabiyyah with her Patience when she keeps failing a particular course and she would still thank her Lord and put in more effort. She perseveres through those hard times. What about her Trust in Allah and the day she missed a particular exam, the first thing she did was to perform ablution and observe two Nawafil and her hope that everything was going to fall in place.

She would not compromise her Deen for the benefit of this world,she's always ready to sacrifice anything for her Lord no matter how much it costs. Noor continues.

She sprinkles love and care wherever she finds herself.

She's a real definition of Faith and Devotion as she'll constantly say it's her journey to her Lord.

She finds solace in the night prayers and Fast. I guess those acts are her strength. ShShe'always running to her Lord in tears,should in case anything bothers her.

Brother Bilaal......I have so many things to say but let's pause for now .....Noor who was already emotional says.

Umm Sulaym shaped the person I am becoming with Allah's permission.

This is not even to say she's flawless but the good is just glaring to ignore the flaws and I must say she's the kind who stands corrected.

Bilaal pats his sister.....

I'll relay everything you've said to Yaas...finally realising what he has spilled, he pauses.

Ohh...wow...so it's him,Abu Talha,Bro Yaasir.Noor says

Maa shaa Allah.......TRB,interesting.

I'm loving this.....Noor says in excitement.

Well.....he'll be coming next week when he's back from Doha.

Na'am ,should I inform my strawberry? Noor asks

Yes....but not full detail,Bilaal answers.

Noor who couldn't bask in the excitement alone places a face time to her friend.

After the greeting, Noor informs her friend of how the person her friend admires is interested in her friend.

Yaasir is back in town and soon he catches up with his friend,who is pleased to inform him of the conversation he had with his sister.

Bro,I feel she'll make a righteous wife and mother. She ticks your boxes.

Ikr,so what's next? Bilaal asks

Bro,don't leave me for this Aponhood ,Bilaal says.

Bro Bilaal, how did it go with Bro Yaasir? Noor asks

Na'am,they say in unison.

I don't know if I really need to in knowing more about you because what I heard of you is just convincing .

However, I would like you to honour me with a little introduction of your background. But before that, I apologise for not being fair to introduce myself.

I am Yaasir,Abu Talha, the Executive Director of TRB Technologies and TRB Qur'an Academy. Nothing could've inspired me than my love for Deen ,Growth and Halal Rizq.

Get Rich For the Deen,I guess I'm finally stepping into the room,Alhamdulillah to have my share of the worldy benefit when Allah says in Surah Al-Qasas Q28vs77.

Rather, seek the ˹reward˺ of the Hereafter by means of what Allah has granted you, without forgetting your share of this world……

I am Umm Sulaym, a student of Islamic knowledge in Daarul Uloom.

I am currently in SS1 and I'm in my last phase of completing the first Khaadimatul Qur'an. I am also an English Language finalist in the Lagos State University. I value good communication skills, and I'm just a girl journeying to her Lord. Umm Sulaym concludes.

They further asks questions pertaining to Nikkah, Likes and Dislikes,Strengths and Weaknesses ,Child Upbringing and Islamic Perspective on Romance.

At the end,they both felt relieved to have discovered so many reasons on why they should embark on the sacred journey together.

The date was fixed and the nikkah was solemnized.
